Lake Manassas Health and Rehabilitation Ctr has worked with our mother as a patient for almost 3 months. The location is a very pretty setting. The staff in almost every area has been kind, caring and attentive to our mother. The facility is spacious and clean, while the rehabilitation / work out gym is top tier. Our mothers next transition will be Home Health. Not having gone through this process with a loved one before, it can be overwhelming and emotional. Our Case Management Team (MacKenzie in particular) has been so helpful with this process. One overall improvement would be the hiring of more staff.

My dealings with Lake Manassas health and rehabilitation center was for a friend of mine recovering from cancer treatments. I was very pleased with the efficiency and quick responses from the staff there. The people offering physical therapy were very patient and took extra time some days for a second visit to the gym. Nicole Constantine, the discharge manager, was particularly helpful. Everything was arranged well ahead of time for my friend’s discharge from rehab. I felt confident that he had the care and tools he needed once he was back home.
So far, after 1 visit, customer service is exceptional. The one exception is the front desk person. I stepped up to the counter and the Greeter was on the phone. I stood there for a minute or so. She finally hung us and before she could greet me the phone rang again. Instead of answering the phone and asking them to hold so she could greet me, she answered the phone and handled that call, making me wait again. I did not get the names of the Physical Therapist, Nursing Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Insurance Person, Cafeteria person, Occupational Therapist who were all so friendly and kind. I will pay attention in the future and get names, if you dare ask for my opinion again. LOL!
Our 96 year old mother was referred to rehabilitation at Lake Manassas after recovering from a severe infection. It was the first care facility I have ever seen her actually enjoy being in. The quality of care, the people and the facility itself was all exceptional, and the Nichole, the facility Director of Social Work and Discharge management was tremendously helpful when we had to move our Mother into a long-term care facility. We highly recommend Lake Manassas!
Happy to see more reviews exposing this place! I posted a review 2 years ago, that seemingly disappeared. I attached a screenshot, luckily the picture was saved on my Google. Thank God. Firstly someone in the right wing area laughed at my request about my father's medicine. How could anyone ever do that? (I see relevant reviews on key with what I am saying) I had to do his laundry. It smelled strongly of urine. Had a very bad uti. He was delirious and it was frightening. A life altering moment, I thought I was going to lose my father. They absolutely failed to meet expectations. Soiled bedding. Painful diaper rashes. I had to overhear people crying about mistreatment. People yelling for help while their alarms went off. Absolutely terrible for my father to have to go through being treated badly, eating bad food, losing appetite, and did I forget to mention HE COULD OF DIED because of hygiene concerns due to being severely understaffed and due to the under-qualified negligible people who work there. Lake Manassas needs to be shut down! A profit mill full of elder abuse. It is god awful terrible. If you/your loved one need care, I urge you to find a better solution. At home caretakers so you can monitor everything.
