There are many amenities weekly for entertainment, games, bus trips shopping, special events, and more. The dining room is pleasant, and there are great menu choices. Everyone loves the ice cream! My brother was a new resident in December 2023. He found the accommodations very comfortable and well maintained. It didn't take him long to make great new friends and socialize in activities. It made me happy to know he was happy at Lake Forest. I highly recommend Lake Forest Park for your loved ones. Be sure to visit and see Tanya and Trisha for a tour!

Mom (Ann Mazzer) has been with LFP for about a year. During that time, I've seen many upgrades and renovations take place. What I am really grateful for is the staff at LFP. Everyone from Tanya to the maintenance crew are very kind to Mom. Having Mom there gives me peace of mind because I know she is very well cared for. I am forever grateful to Mom's Memory Care family who take such good care of her and make her smile every day. Thank you.
My father has been at Lake Forest Park for about 7 years. We have found the staff to be caring and attentive. The cost is reasonable compared with other facilities. The food is good. I enjoy having lunch with dad now that Covid restrictions have eased.
Terrible communications, nobody there follows through, follows up, or steps up and takes responsibility. Terrible non existent management. I could go on and on......... do not set up auto payment or they will bill you thousands for rent after you have moved out following their own requirements for notification. I recommended them and have never been so sorry.
In January 2018, mom fell in her house and broke her hip. It was at this time that we realized she could no longer live alone. 24/7 live in help was not affordable. My husband and I live out of state and mom, living in Florida for 30+ years, did not want to come back to the cold North. We began to research facilities in the general area and narrowed the possibilities to four facilities. Our first meeting was with Lake Forest Park. The staff was courteous, up beat and professional. We found the facility to be clean and cheerful. The residents seemed very happy. We were offered lunch and found the meal to be balanced and tasty. As we met with other assisted living facilities in the area, we found that Lake Forest Park was a smaller more personal and family like environment. This is what I wanted for my mom, not a big facility where she will be come lost. We moved he in and the staff immediately included her in the activities that were available. After a few week of evaluation, it was determined that for the proper attention needed, she should be in the memory care section of the facility. Mom had to change suites and we could not get there right away to do the move due to work, the staff took care of everything. Tanya is always available for any questions I have and will get back to me immediately with an answer. If you are looking for a safe, more personal environment for a loved one, make a meeting with Lake Forest Park a top priority.
