I’ve been an independent resident of La Loma Village since 2018. At that time, I relocated from New England to be closer to family and escape the cold winter weather. I considered many living options in Arizona, but concluded that Sun Health’s Life Care communities offered the very best option for me. Of the three communities, La Loma Village stood out as the best match for me. I fell in love with its location, smaller size, and extremely friendly staff and residents. It truly has a feeling of home. Living at La Loma Village has greatly enriched my social life and well-being, along with the new friends I have made and the many activities that I participate in. It’s like being on an endless vacation! I highly recommend this Sun Health community for seniors looking for comfort, fun, and safety, with the added important benefit of Life Care.

We have lived in the Orchard at La Loma Village for nearly a year. It has been great. As a second generation resident it has been a perfect solution for our needs. We enjoyed the adventure of the new additions to the complex, despite the construction delays and setbacks. Our home is beautiful and perfect in every way. One of the best decisions we have ever made; meaning, how do we spend our remaining years, what kind of location and lifestyle suits us best? We looked at options both herein Arizona and back home in Oregon. La Lomas Lifecare plan seemed to be the best answer. We knew down the line we may have some life changing issues and we wanted to make our own choice of where to be. Our choice was La Loma Village located in Litchfield Park, AZ. It was a fantastic decision: wonderful food, clean facilities, lots of activities and the staff is so very accommodating.
We moved to LaLoma.Village last fall and know it was the right decision for us. The staff have been wonderful to work with and helpful in meeting our needs. Residents are so friendly and make a concerted effort to get to know new people and get them involved. The food is wonderful and scope of activities very broad. Most importantly, we have peace of mind knowing higher levels of care are available to us right here when and if we should need them - skilled nursing, memory care or assisted living. I have been a resident in the main building for over a year, and I have loved it. All the staff and residents are very friendly and polite to each other. It's like a big, extended family. The food is excellent. There is a wide variety of activities here; some are run by staff and others are run by residents. I don't have to worry about a lot of things I used to worry about at my house. They have maintenance staff who can fix all kinds of things for free or a nominal charge. They have 24-hour security, free housekeeping, and emergency medical support. Another big selling point for me was all the trees, bushes, flowers, and mountain views.
