My father was in this nursing home for 2 years. He was well cared for there. My mother spent 10 years there in the “Kursana” in Wittenberg. When she was still able to walk well, she often went for walks in the old town. Later, a mobile nursing service and we, the relatives, took these trips with her in a wheelchair. The nursing staff has been there all these years also took good care of her. But the current shortage of nursing staff comes at the expense of individual care. We have great respect for everyone who works in this profession and gives their best every day despite the shortage!
My grandfather lived there years ago, and now I'm a relative again. Despite a change of director, the company doesn't seem to be developing any further. The quality of the home depends on the satisfaction of the staff, and dissatisfaction is noticeable as an outsider. But as long as evaluations from inspection bodies or weeks of preparation for internal audits are more important, quality will not improve.
My mother, who suffers from dementia, was a roommate in the Kursana domicile in Wittenberg for several months. She was lovingly welcomed, cared for and cared for there. The nursing staff were always friendly, competent and always took the time to answer our questions. A very nice, modern, very clean nursing home with great food!!!
