Very nice residence in the immediate vicinity of the vineyards and the Spitzhaus in Radebeul. We could look around this facility ourselves, what we saw was a great, atmospherically beautifully designed facility - especially now in the beautiful season and the Christmas atmosphere. The cafeteria, which is accessible to every visitor, also invited us to a cafe at the end. Only to recommend!
Subsequent review - Stayed a while ago. Was not recommended! My grandmother lost a lot of weight within 3 months and died. The room had a toilet, but every time she was wheeled the 3 meters to the toilet in a wheelchair (she could still walk). Because of her dementia, she was entitled to an occupational therapist, but he never came. She liked to play man, don't get angry, etc., but now she just sat in the corner and was left alone, mentally withered away and hardly recognized me anymore. When I demanded the remaining cash after her death, the administrative lady literally insulted me as to why I wasn't mourning, even though I had previously spent a whole hour saying goodbye in her room. Maybe an isolated case, my grandma certainly didn't like it.
Unfortunately, my mother's time as a resident of the retirement home was very short. I didn't have to question the decision to place her here for a day. Employees who treat the residents very carefully and not only respond to their needs, but are also there for their relatives at all times and a clean, well-maintained facility. Highly recommended!
''We've always done it that way'' characterizes this place. Employees who don't follow their lead are denounced and driven away with underhanded plans and rumors. Relatives who express one wish too many are then “harassed” by staff during the infamous smoking breaks. Roster schedules are not adhered to and much more. but that would go beyond the scope here. This requires no answer.
