My parents enjoyed several wonderful years at Kingston Residence of Hickory. It is an extraordinary community, deeply caring and consistently excellent in meeting every need for health, friendships, activities, and comfort. I cannot imagine a better place for seniors to live.

I can't believe it has been a year since Mom transitioned to Kingston of Hickory. As a family we're so glad we chose Kingston for Mom, knowing that she is receiving professional and personalized care daily, affording her the opportunity to be as independent as possible. I highly recommend Kingston of Hickory for your loved one.
The management and staff has gone above and beyond expectations to make my father's stay at Kingston a great one. A considerate and caring staff.
My mother is in the assisted living part of Kingston. She has lived at other places, but this is by far the most caring place that she has lived. If she isn’t seen around doing her normal routine, someone is always checking in on her. They will remind her to go to a meal if she forgets, call or escort her to her favorite activity, and if she doesn’t show up for a meal, they will bring it to her room. This is not something that you will find at most places. Another strong point for Kingston for me is that there is a nurses station on each floor and there is a doctor that will see my mother right there without having to take her somewhere. There is transportation if you choose to send your loved one outside of the residence but it is so much better for my mother who has dementia to use their ‘resident’ doctor and not have to leave Kingston.
My father has been at most all the facilities this county has to offer at his age. He likes it here best. It is conveniently located in Hickory. The kitchen staff, maintenance, administrative, and housekeeping have been very accommodating at Kingston.
