I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the care and treatment my family member has received at the King of Prussia Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. From the outset, I’ve observed a concerning lack of professionalism and compassion from several CNAs and nurses on staff. It is disheartening to witness new residents arrive without so much as a greeting or acknowledgment from the care team. My aunt, who is currently under their care, has been ignored. I had to call repeatedly to express multiple concerns; most recently regarding her bed, which smelled strongly of urine. When she requested clean linens, a CNA brought the sheets into the room but left them on the chair rather than assisting her in changing the bed, which is unacceptable in a skilled nursing facility. Additionally, her room was without a functioning television for three consecutive days, despite repeated calls from me requesting that the issue be resolved. Most troubling of all, I’ve personally heard a CNA and a nurse speak to her in a condescending and unkind manner. She is also a diabetic and her blood sugar checks were not done regularly and medicine insulin, particularly not given in a timely fashion. It is profoundly upsetting that a facility entrusted with the care of vulnerable individuals would allow such dismissive and disrespectful behavior. Residents deserve dignity, empathy, and attentive care; none of which have consistently been demonstrated in my aunt’s experience. I had to order her food from target because she cannot get the food she requested per their menu request requested that a pot of hot water be delivered to her that wasn’t even delivered to her and she has been quite thirsty I hope immediate steps will be taken to address these concerns, ensure staff accountability, and uphold the standard of care that every resident deserves.

I knew this facility had bad reviews previously and I didn’t want my mom to go there. Today was only her first day. She had several people come in, the activities director, speech therapist and physical therapist to meet with her. I mentioned her behind was a little sore and the nurse and assistant came in rather quickly to check her. I can’t give a lot of feedback with it only being her first day but i feel good about it so far.
Makayla is very compassionate, very kind, and understanding and patient. I've been making progress everyday with the help of the therapists. Too many good therapists to name but they're all wonderful!
Recently my mom had a rehab today at this place. The physical therapy was great occupational therapy was great. However the staff is poorly run, lazy, unskilled and detrimental to the health of their clients and residents. Especially the night nurses and aids. So often my mother calls for help and was screaming for help and nobody came they closed her door so they didn't have to hear her. They placed the call Button out of her reach so she couldn't call them, they had her laying in dirty diapers for hours before they cleaned her. Told her to crap and pee in her diapers rather than take her to the bathroom. One nurse even raised her hand as if to hit her. I've never seen such indifference in a nursing staff. If your loved one needs rehab I would look for an alternate place this place is horrible. The nursing staff especially. They give you dirty looks when you ask for something. I couldn't wait to get her out of here. The nursing staff is incompetent. Lazy. The job of nurse is to give of yourself, not here go somewhere else.
My mom was moved from Phoenixville Hospital on Friday, April 26 to this facility. Saw social worker and occasional nurse. No doctor, physician. PT on Saturday but didn't see anyone. Nurse practiser on Sunday and nobody else till Monday and today before she was moved. Will not recommend this. facility to anyone. Please do your research before closing short term rehab . Room was dirty, no call button *and she had no way to call "a nurse" no blinds on windows. Right along street so anyone could look in her window.
