Well, I know that everyone has had their own experience that King David I would like to say that my experience was nothing short of genuine and passionate care. While I spent 4 1/2 weeks on the Heights pavilion recovering from a surgery, I had the pleasure of having a charismatic, right, smiled young woman named Dejah. She came in every morning with the most cheerful smile They brighten my day after four days of being at the facility with no visit from family Or friends. She took her time to ask me questions and make sure I was comfortable throughout any process of care during my stay. As I know this facility gets a lot of complaints. I want to give recognition to those ones who truly care The food was horrible. I will not lie but all the days this young lady worked she would always get me food from some cafeteria. Prior to my discharge, I was told she was no longer working on the unit in the days after we’re very dim only for me to find out that she had moved onto a better position so for that I can graduate her and I hope that they add more lovely passionate caregivers to their team.

I wanted to move my mom where it was clean and where there were things to do and she is very happy. they have a pool and a chapel and so many activities every day where the community is invited too so it is a lively place and is nice and very clean when my sister and i go to visit. i recommend this facility.
The worst facility I've ever been at in my life and I've been disabled for 11 years. Lack of food, nutritional value, medication, nursing and aide support (not that all or bad) just heavy workload that they can't handle. 15 to 20 patients at night per nurse and aide. I was discharged on a Monday with no transportation home, no medication sent in, and then they wanted to send out their nurse and physical therapist outpatient so they could continue to provide a substandard service to me. I caught covid while I was in there within a week and was restricted to my room where I got physical therapy. The worst place I've ever been in never send a loved one there there are calls from the hallway that will haunt me to the day I die. People that had no family members and we're just sitting there in their own feces waiting to have their diapers changed for hours. I couldn't give a negative rating but I'd give it a negative five or 10 if I could stay out of this place do not send a loved one there unless you plan on being there everyday. They call the food kosher I don't think so it's just substandard food and I've got pictures and I can't wait for the state to see the meals that they were serving me.
The first time I visited King David it was far more than I was ever expecting from a nursing home. I guess that is why the are called King David Post Acute Care and not King David Nursing Home. They have so much more to offer than I have ever seen at any facility I have worked at in my nursing career. When I was given a tour of the facility and learned that there was everything from skilled care, long term care, adult day care, in house dialysis, an aquatic center, a child daycare, a synagogue and so much more I was simply amazed. Each long term care unit is called a pavilion in which they all have their own dining areas, common areas and much more where residents can congregate and play games, make conversation, watch television and more. King David is an amazing company. After seeing all they had to offer their residents I couldn’t wait to work for such a great organization. It has been a month since I have been with King David and I don’t regret a minute of it. I learn something new everyday. They are always willing to teach anyone all you have to do is ask. The best thing about working at King David is the residents. They are the lifeblood of King David. It s such a joy to go into work everyday to know I can make people smile today. I wouldn’t change a thing. King David is the best by far in my 14 year nursing career. Keep up the good work!
this is the worst facility ever literally, i sent my grandfather here and i wouldn’t recommend you send any family members or friends here. my grandfather was there for three days and he was talking (he’s non-verbal), eating on his own , and hugging us. that third day we went in his lip was swollen and it looked like he had a seizure, he was also unresponsive. we sent him to the hospital and he got sent back to the facility. still HORRIBLE care. he wasn’t getting any baths, the nurse that changed him did not clean him throughly and it was still poop all around his groin area, meaning that the poop has been sitting there for a while just moving around. me and my mother had to physically change him ourselves. he had two big bed sores on his bottom and his ankle where he had toes amputated was dry and flaky and it was a sore on it. there’s no way i have to come do their job and you get paid for this. the social worker that’s been fired did not do her job either. we needed medical supplies and it’s their job to make the calls and order the supplies and set up transportation, THEY DO SOCIAL WORK! so why did we have to make every call for all the supplies and transportation to get him home? thank god she was fired. i would never recommend sending anyone here 0/10 care.
