Right from the start when we liaisoned with admin, Sharon showed us the upmost care and emotional support. Mum was settled into the Gumtree wing where the staff gave her all the help and loving care she needed. We found that a number of the staff members went above and beyond the level of care required. (Especially Julie). We cannot sing their praises enough. Patrick and Naomi in their admin roles gave us continual updates via email as we were living overseas. This enabled us to keep up with mum's care and needs. It made us feel as if we were right there. The level of communication, care and support was outstanding. We would readily recommend their helping to look after your loved ones. Mum passed on the 11/01/2025 at 92years of age. Thank you William Cape Gardens. John & Sonia

Our mum, Joyce Mccarthy fell and broke her hip so unfortunately, we had to put her into a aged care facility. After visiting many places, we were recommended William Cape Gardens, from the moment Sharon showed us around we knew straight away mum would love it here. We didn't realize just how much Mum enjoyed the physio, games, arts and crafts, singing, entertainment, and the cinema. She made many friends with both staff and residents. The whole staff in “Gum” from the RNs, carers, laundry ladies, etc., we could not fault them. They were so inspirational, caring, loving, patient, always having a laugh with Mum, residents, and us. Nothing was a trouble. Boy what a place, we would love to name everyone, but you all know who you are. You will always have a place in our hearts, we love everyone of youse. Thank you so much for looking after our mum the way you did. We will come in and see you all and have a cuppa. Love you all.
Today I went to see my mam for her 94th birthday, I brought her some tulips, but when I arrived there where balloons and a beautiful birthday card from the staff,thank you, you beautiful people ,for caring for my mam
Absolutely wonderful staff and care. My mother was a client for 7 1/2 years in a completely debilitated condition. All the staff who cared for her gave more than a paid service. They cared for her and some of the nurses and and managers gave her love and treated her as a friend. I felt confident of my mother being in the best possible hands and that she was given gentleness and compassion, and affection; something you can’t buy. Our family situation was extremely difficult and the individuals I dealt with were professional, helpful and kind to me in the most difficult of times and circumstances. I cannot thank them enough. I cannot praise them enough. Beautiful people work there. Trust them.
Went to look at this facility last week and was very impressed. My mum needs to go into respite care, hopefully this will be the next best thing until she can go home, fingers crossed
