Our experience at Just Like Home has been exceptional, defined by a warm, inclusive community. The staff’s dedication shines brightly, creating a nurturing environment for residents. A standout memory was when they organized a surprise birthday celebration for my father, complete with decorations, cake, and heartfelt joy. It wasn’t just a party; it was a testament to the genuine affection and personalized attention that permeates every aspect of this wonderful home. This place is more than a residence; it's a community where moments of happiness and care create a profound sense of belonging.
Deirdre and Just Like Home have developed a great alternative to the large, impersonal and expensive assisted living facilities. When looking for a facility for our father, we happened to hear about Deirdre's smaller facilities through a friend and were instantly impressed with what she created. Cozy, friendly, fully updated and welcoming. That and the team there really helped eased what is a difficult transition for an elderly parent. Thanks Deirdre!
I visited a bunch of different communities in the area while searching for the right place for my dad, and Just Like Home stood out. Housing only six residents creates a much different environment than other memory care facilities, allowing for a quiet and more individualized experience. The feeling of still living in a home can lead to a much easier transition than moving from my dad's current living arrangement into a giant facility. The home itself is fresh and modern without feeling like a hotel, and it sits in a beautiful neighborhood with a big yard. The residents and caregivers were very welcoming, and Dierdre was kind enough to be flexible with me and schedule a tour outside of normal business hours to fit my schedule. Even the price is more favorable than the typical facilities I toured. I'd recommend anyone in the market for memory care to check out Just Like Home.
