This place was once called Rutherford County Adult Activity Center. They were successful then and I believe more successful now. Been around a long time. I haven’t been there in over 20 years. I was once the head of the Residential Program. All staff from upper management, where I was, and workers, where I started, honestly cared for the individuals with developmental disabilities. Very hard not to care. For them because you begin to learn about each one and their personalities. Then you begin to love them regardless. The best place to leave your child that has developmental disabilities or some king of cognitive disorder. I’m so happy to see you are still open and serving. Bless your hearts.

i am greatful or this program and the services they provide. I had lived here for three years. I am working on a bachelor degree from Middle Tennessee state University and their DSPs provide me transportation back and forth to campus.
I am for ever grateful for this program. We need more programs like this to serve our disabled individuals.
