I wish I could Leave a Negative 5 star review, My mother has been residing in this Place for “5 Years” & has been Exposed to THREATS OF BEING THROWN OUT, THREATS OF ALL KINDS, SHE HAD A PUPPY SHE PAID OVER 3500$ & was forced to rehome her due to CONSTANT badgering from staff & other residents, she had a bird Same thing🤦🏽♀️…, The so called office staff😂🤣🤦🏽♀️ YEAH A JOKE, NOW I HAVE BEEN PREVENTED FEOM SEEING MY MOM WHO I AM HER CURRENT POA & ONLY LIVING FAMILY MEMBER IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, (((MARY FLYNN JENSEN)))) THREATENED MY 15 year old daughter saying SHE BETTER BE GONE WITH ALL HER STUFF TODAY OR ELSE, or else what????, NOW WE GOT BIGGER FISH TO FRY CUZ I AM PLANNING ON SUING THIS MOLD INFESTED DUMP…. Just do yourselves a favor & STAY AWAY & keep your loved ones away from this HOLE INFESTED DUMP IN THE WALL IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR LOVED ONES BEING TREATED LIKE THEY ARE 2 years old. CONSTANT BUGS COMING IN THRU HER HEAT/AC unit, water leaking all over her carpet underneath the AC unit. Then they blame her that she spilled something there.

Do NOT allow your family member to live here, at least not the assisted living part. We moved my mother out because she was choking and pressed her emergency button and no one came. No one at all. It was a good thing the choking spell passed. I heard that other people are allowed to suffer because nurses don't care and don't answer emergency calls.
I will never let my parent live here again. During the summers there are infestations of bugs coming in through the air conditioners in everyone's living rooms. Nursing staff doesn't care about dispensing medications on time at all. I had my parent on a set schedule of taking her medicines at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.. Within two weeks they were giving her medications sparatically every two hours, even waking her up at night to take something. She started ending up in the hospital repeatedly and nobody would give her the medications for the nights she was back in her apartment. Even if I begged with the night nurse, all I got was attitude and a "Well, she's not getting her medications". Straight out of the hospital and no routine medicine!! Now as far as food goes, the kitchen staff has tried to charge people $3 for a salad when it's supposed to be included, they have repeatedly quit, some days the residents only got a sandwich for dinner. On days they have staff meetings, no meals are served. Some meals weren't even senior friendly, like a chicken burrito where the chunks were big and hard to chew, like they had freezer burn. Within months my mother's health declined and she ended up in a nursing home. She is thankfully back at 100% now. It's all smoke and mirrors in this place...Oh and the bus trips to the store, they are unsupervised and left at the location for two hours!! Please, do not consider this place.
Everyone is so friendly and the residents truly have everything they need right there. Lovely dining room, country store, library and computer center, several common and party rooms for socializing, laundry facilities, hair salon, and more! The apartments are clean and updated. Everything is so clean. There are activities and excursions, movie nights, meetings and parties. It really is a great place for seniors to live.
It's on the east side of Joliet, but it's a still a good area near New Lenox. Pretty big apartments, all things considered. Nice views. People are nice and helpful. My mom likes it at Joshua. Real good food.
