I visit supportive living facilities as part of my job. I have always been impressed by John Evans. They have many long-time employees who really care about their residents. The community is always clean and nicely decorated and feels homey. I like their selection of food, for the residents and they have a great group of residents. There are ample activities to keep residents engaged and active. I think it’s a great supportive living community and recommend it as a top facility in the area.
While they took care of my mother in law whole she was there, once she passed they gave her family just 2 days, 2 DAYS!, to clean out her apartment! This family is grieving and trying to process what happened, and trying to arrange a funeral, and all John Evans is worried about is getting that apartment cleaned put so they can get someone else in there to keep that money rolling in. Shame on you John Evans!
My mother moved in recently and has been very happy with the facility and meals, her apartment, all the staff and the positive atmosphere they promote, the activities available, and the friendly residents. As the daughter of a John Evans resident, I am so pleased for her and have such peace of mind that she is living in such a fine place. The office staff are extremely helpful and collaborative with navigating paperwork also.
