The entire team is dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate, but I must give special recognition to Nurse Mariana Nurse Mariana went above and beyond in every way possible. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made a world of difference during my mom’s recovery. Whether it was providing clear explanations about my treatment, checking in frequently to ensure her comfort, or simply offering a smile and words of encouragement. The facility itself is clean, organized, and equipped with everything needed for a smooth rehabilitation process. I sincerely want to thank the staff at the Jewish home for all the care and support that they provided to my grandmother (yiayia). Sending grandma to rehab at 104 was a difficult decision for the family. It turned out to be a great choice. Raquel in admissions made sure my grandmother had a room next to the nurses station so she could be watched. The administrator made rounds on each unit to make sure the patients were receiving the care they deserve. The therapy staff worked very hard with grandma during her stay and she was able to return to her baseline. She enjoyed the meals and the desserts. The building was kept clean and housekeeping cleaned the bath and emptied the garbage daily. Andre was a terrific aid. He always made sure my grandmother was clean, dressed and fed. He was a kind and hard-working employee. I give this facility a 10/10.
My grandmother admitted to The Jewish Home back in August after becoming weak from a hospital stay. At the time of admission, long term care was not an option and not a thought for a possibility for my family. However, after weeks of rehab and realizing she needed 24/7 care it became a reality that we needed that extra help for her. It was without hesitation that we chose to stay with The Jewish Home for that LTC need. The care my grandmother received on the sub acute unit for her rehab was above and beyond. Having to transition from rehab to the long term unit was a huge adjustment for myself and my family, but I can promise you this was the best decision my family has made. The staff has made the transition smooth and reassuring. From social work guiding us the entire process and nursing going above and beyond to make her feel like family, I could not thank them enough. It is not easy having to choose this route for your loved one. Choosing The Jewish Home for my grandmothers Long term care has been unquestionably the right decision. I want to specifically thank the aide Zena and nurse Sandra A. For truly reassuring our decision on a daily basis and showing us that a nursing home can feel like home too. The staff truly becomes you’r family, and we are blessed to have them watching over our loved one. I would refer this facility ten times over and can’t thank them enough for everything they do.
My mother-in-law recently completed an extended stay at The Jewish Home following a serious fall that resulted in multiple injuries. When she was ready to be discharged from the hospital, the social worker provided a list of rehab centers for us to consider. Working in healthcare myself, I reviewed each option, and the moment I saw The Jewish Home on the list, I knew it was the right choice. Although our family is based in Ocean County, the extra drive was worth every mile, knowing she would receive the exceptional care The Jewish Home is known for. In my experience working in assisted living, residents who have gone to The Jewish Home always return looking and feeling great. Naturally, I expected the same level of care for my own family member, and I was not disappointed. Throughout her five-week stay, The Jewish Home exceeded all of our expectations. She received top-tier rehabilitation that left her feeling stronger, safer, and more confident about returning home. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring all of her questions were answered, arranging transportation for her doctor appointments, and even facilitating a second opinion on one of her injuries. The facility itself is spotless and beautifully modern, while still maintaining a comforting, homelike atmosphere. The privacy of having her own room was, in my opinion, an essential element on her road to a full recovery. Seeing The Jewish Home from a family's perspective, rather than as a healthcare professional, was an eye-opening experience. It only deepened my trust in the remarkable care they provide. wonderful, friendly, caring experience from the moment we walked in greeted so nicely at the front desk such lovely staff every step of the way very helpful. Nurses were terrific. My family member who is currently in there for rehab is experiencing a very positive experience safe clean, beautiful.
