I have had to go to this store a couple of times.. Each time it was not my choice, but had to. Each time I was treated despicably. Some of their workers and managers are extremely racist, but of course they are not open about it, they try to be subtle but make sure you catch it. The last time when I bought a couple of washers which were about $0.89 each the manager who was serving me rudely told me that he didn’t want to see me come back to return them. I asked him if he really thought I was going to waste my time and gas to return two washers worth 89 cents each, even if they did not work out that wouldn’t be a wise use of my time, surely. I wish we had a Home Deport or Lowes in the area.

The repairmen were top notch. Kind and efficient. I appreciate their kindness and helpfulness. The repairman was Kenneth and his assistant ( didn’t catch his name) who went above and beyond. I will continue to do business with hostetters & sons. Nowadays it’s hard to find kindness, good customer service, and ability.
JB Hostetter & Sons was an awesome experience from the individuals that helped throughout the store to team that loaded our car. Great job guys! Highly recommend the new Ace experience!
This store is great. The staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I worked with a lady named Mary that not only found me a LP tank, but walked it right outside and filled it for me! I love shopping local, and employees like Mary make me feel like a valued customer.
Went in during the CHAOS of them remodeling and was pretty quickly helped by Sean to find a good soil for seed starting and a few other things. He also answered my many questions about their remodel. Not to mention I was asked AGAIN if I needed help by numerous employees. These guys ROCK!!! I’m excited to see what it looks like in a few weeks!!
