As a local Realtor, I have had many clients take advantage of the great services and support at INHS. This is a very challenging time to buy a house and though the financial parameters for the IHNS program can be limiting, they are changing the lives of some people who would otherwise not be able to purchase a home without their help. In addition, the education department at INHS provides a fantastic program open to ANYONE. The class offers a solid foundation of knowledge about purchasing a first home. I've had so many buyers come to me from the INHS Homebuyer program and they are better prepared, more confident, and less intimidated by the process. I recommend it to everyone. Within the parameters of what is allowed by their funders and donors, I believe INHS does the best they can with what they have and they are an important part of increasing housing equity in our community.

In 2004, I bought a house that INHS rehabbed in the mid-1980s. In the 20 years I have owned it, the only work I have done on the house, apart from ordinary maintenance, has been cosmetic. I still have the framed "before and after" photos from the 1985 rehab on my wall. INHS's work is tremendous. Every community should be so lucky as to have an INHS.
the houses are selling so fast all the prices are coming down extremely fast. how unwise not to hold everything at hand via renting them. Oh well. Who cares about millions of dollars lost.
They don’t return phone calls nor emails. Have been trying to get an apartment at Pine View but with the new management not returning phone calls it’s impossible. Even contacted someone in Ithaca still with no return email. Awful customer service if ya ask me
My family and I have lived at their property for almost a decade. And now that the ac unit has died the facility coordinator says that the ac is a luxury and not a necessity. My wife is disabled and her disability makes her break out in hives in extreme heat. They know about her disability and they require specific paperwork to even call an HVAC company... this is ridiculous
