Our mom was lucky to have her first step into community living be at Independence Village. From the moment we met with Nathan we felt like we had found mom’s new home. Nathan was there for us every step of the way as we got her settled in and beyond. Jim and Linda were always so caring and helpful as well. The entire staff at Independence Village is truly amazing. Mom was treated as family right from the start, as were her six kids. We felt so comfortable with her living at the Village; we knew her needs were being met the whole time she was living there. When extra health services were needed, they were easily added with a qualified, helpful, and kind staff. The Village is family-owned, which is a huge bonus and has a lifetime rate, so there is never a worry of rent going up every year. The residents seem happy, content and are very well cared for. They are respected and loved. Independence Village has wonderful activities and events planned that keep the residents engaged, fosters a sense of community, and brings them joy. Our family will be forever grateful for the time our mom lived at Independence Village.

Our family has been very pleased with Mom’s move to Independence Village. The staff has been wonderful. Facilities are clean and well kept. Mom feels safe and well cared for. Though she is living independently now, the option to add services as needed is a bonus. We love the idea of aging in place. I highly recommend independence Village
After a week of my mother becoming a resident at Independence Village in Naperville, I can say that she definitely feels at home! From our first meeting with Nathan, to the welcome my mother has received from other staff members and most importantly, the residents, my mother can relax and enjoy herself. She enjoys her apartment, the three meals served each day in the dining room, the various activities and the companionship with others. Please add this community to your list when searching for an independent senior living community for your loved one! And as Nathan and Jim share often, welcome home!
After my mom passed away, Dad decided he couldn't stay home by himself. After visiting several senior living facilities I chose Independence Village for my Dad. Nathan and Linda were great to work with and really helped make the whole process as easy as possible. The entire staff is great and I truly feel that they really care about the residents. Independence Village of Naperville has been a true blessing for our 97-year-old father. It provides a protective and custodial environment, giving him the structure and safety he needs at this stage in life — while still respecting his independence and dignity. ALS provides 24/7 care, assisting with his daily tasks and medical needs, which gives our family great peace of mind. He especially enjoys the outings to the Naperville Riverwalk and the outdoor music festivals. He also loves the in-house activities, which keep him engaged and socially connected right at home. The staff is outstanding, and the owners, Nate and Jim, are hands-on and truly committed to creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. A special thank-you to Gina, who shows incredible patience and kindness — she checks on Dad if he misses a meal and offers gentle reminders, as his memory is not what it used to be.
