Hello everyone, January 1st will start my 3rd year. Was glad to be here at first. However my first 2yrs. they increased my rent over $50 per month. January 1st would be my 3rd yr. In 2023 seniors will receive an 8.7% raise in our social security check. Just received my new lease for 2023. Brookfield properties raised my rent another $82, which is 10.69%. I guess they figured we'd waste that 8.7% on necessities. So not only did they take my entire 8.7% raise they added another 2%. I was told that all leases starting January 1st rent will increase $82. Never late or missed a payment. My apartment is spotless. This is how a company worth $123+ million dollars treat seniors.
Alot of chaos and favortism and discrimination. Be careful Sad to see this place going downhill . Brookfield owns this place and they have money and know it and they think they have the right to treat tenants the way they do. I used to give it five stars But now I just can't Please look into Brookfield Properties Website before you go on to any of their property. Which they own alot. Here and other countries. So much chaos. Been here since 2015 When it was Forest City! Brookfield Properties don't care about people or tenants. Just wait new tenants you might give them a great review now But, wait for a while that might change!
Uluan and Peter maintenance men were very professional, polite and efficient. They came in assessed left came back and resolved the issue. I can appreciate quality service. Thank you all!
