I am now in the process of moving in to take advantage of needed LTC Assistance in daily living. After carefully considering several Lauderdale locations, IH and its staff and features - including gym, Medicare eligible PT and therapy staff, most reasonable rates for spacious updated apartments, very flexible and interesting menus at all meals, and across the board caring and helpful staff during my first month, convince me of the good decision I’ve made.

I recently took a tour with Rob in sales and he was very detailed and informative about options for my parents. As we toured the community, he introduced me to the staff and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I could see the other residents getting along with the staff and having a good time. The community was very clean and smelled good. This was the fifth community that I toured and I feel I found the right community that I would feel comfortable having my parents move into. I’m apart of the LGBT community and I really love that they are forward thinking and inclusive which makes me feel safe and comfortable having my parents in a caring and loving community.
I am thankful every day that the Lord led us to Independence Hall. The attentive nursing staff; the creative activities director; the kitchen staff who know my mom’s faves and miss her when she’s not there; the atmosphere of family and kindness among the residents; all these make Independence Hall a special place.
I brought a friend 🧡 of mine to Independence Hall to live in the beginning of 2024 actually December 29, 2023, in order to use the facilities and be around others. He doesn't use all the activities yet I love all the opportunities that Golden Bell offers, I get in trouble because I join in I love all the activities. From Bingo, Motivation Speeches, Physical Therapy, Art 🎨 Classes, WII Bowling, Shuffle Board, Miniature Golf, Bachi Ball, Mediation, happy hour, musical name that tune karaoke 🎤 and many more memory game's 😀.
I moved my 90 year old parents from Fort Myers into Independence Hall in 2017. I comparison shopped the area and decided this was the best fit for my parents and for me as their primary family caretaker. When my father passed away in 2018 the staff were amazing, consoling and helped guide me through this difficult time. Since then my now 94 year old mother has been taken care of with a kind, compassionate, culturally proficient staff. I know their staff by name and they treat my mother as if she was their own family member. During the pandemic the staff made so many HUGE personal sacrifices to keep their residents Covid-free!! It was a very scary situation but they remained calm and focused on their mission - to keep their residents safe. I highly recommend Independence Hall!!
