My sister is there and trying to get a hold of someone to discuss her care plan. They're not bathing her, she's developed fungal. Pictures of workers at the desk doing nothing, when asked to empty the urinal they passed one for you to do ut yourself. The Pictures that you see are nothing what the facility looks like. Not sure where they stole the Pictures from.

I've been visiting my friend for over three years now. And Fieldstone is one of the best nursing homes. The workers and attendees are fantastic. Thank you all for your service.
Dear Administration, I am writing to express concerns regarding Fieldston Lodge's recent rebranding and facility upgrades. While understanding the business motivations, I question the wisdom of accepting patients with similar challenging behaviors and backgrounds without adequately addressing the impact on existing residents and staff. I respectfully request that the administration reconsider its admissions criteria, prioritizing the safety, well-being, and compatibility of the current resident and staff community. Moreover, I want to acknowledge the exceptional dedication of your staff, who are overworked and underpaid. It is crucial that you recognize their value and take concrete steps to support them. The least you can do is not exacerbate their workload with patients whose needs exceed your facility's capacity. As leaders, your perspective is often focused on the business aspect, whereas frontline staff spend significantly more time with residents. I urge you to consider their viewpoint and prioritize: · Staff safety and well-being · Adequate resources and support · Compatibility with existing residents Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention the pressing issue of understaffing. Currently, your staff are shouldering an unsustainable workload, which may compromise the quality of care and increase burnout. Specifically, I encourage you to consider the insights of staff working directly with residents, rather than solely relying on administrative perspectives. Demonstrating genuine consideration for staff concerns and addressing understaffing will foster a positive work environment, enhance resident care, and mitigate potential risks. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs Brian Dedania
My recent visit from out of state left me impressed with staff dedication, but certain conversations and attitudes prompted my 3-star review. I have a pressing concern regarding the priorities and culture within your facility. Specifically, I question whether patient care or physical appearance takes precedence. I've observed and been informed that staff members frequently comment on patients' and visitors' weight. This behavior is unacceptable and warrants attention. I would like to emphasize the importance of addressing this issue and providing additional training to your staff on: Maintaining a patient-centered approach, focusing on care and dignity. Recognizing and avoiding harmful or insensitive comments. Understanding the impact of body shaming and weight-related stigma. Ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment is crucial. This requires: Developing and enforcing policies prohibiting discriminatory language. Fostering a culture of empathy and understanding. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining professional boundaries. As a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, I wholeheartedly support and encourage people from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds to pursue employment opportunities. However, this should never compromise patient care and dignity. In fact, a diverse staff can enrich the care experience, but only if paired with proper training, sensitivity, and a patient-first approach. I emphasize that cultural diversity and sensitivity should never be used to justify or tolerate subpar care or unprofessional behavior. Prompt action is necessary to uphold the values of compassion, respect, and dignity that your facility strives to embody. Although the Rehab Department excels in patient care, the director's emphasis on physical appearance is troubling and warrants attention
