I cannot compliment Ibis Care Blakehurst and the staff enough for the care and love given to my father for the 12 months he was a resident. The care was 2nd to none and he was given the highest level of care, patience and compassion. All the staff were absolutely amazing and senior management were always available. Erin, Mary, Christine, Val, Virginia and Helen along with all the support nursing staff were amazing when my father came back from hospital as a palliative care patient. Every effort was made to make him comfortable and cared for with dignity. If anyone is in need of Aged Care for a family member I would highly recommend. Myself and our whole family are forever grateful.

Mum and dad were able to be in a companion room which was extremely important to them after being married for 63 years. Erin the manager is exceptional as are all the staff. They all treat my parents with respect and kindness even when my dad is having a difficult day. A special mention to Geeta and Rama who are marvellous with my mum and dad. Communication with the family is excellent. We highly recommend Ibis Care Blakehurst
Mum has been a resident at Blakehurst for 5 years now. She has been extremely well looked after and thankfully continues to thrive.
My father Spyro has been a resident of Ibis Blakehurst for 9 months. During this time, dad has been cared for by the most amazing staff who attend to his every need. As dad was a businessman in his earlier life, he feels he is the manager of Ibis and always has interesting, colourful conversations with staff and residents alike. The way management and staff handle dad’s dementia is truly commendable. They go along with his stories and create calm for his mind. We, as a family, are so appreciative of this. Dad’s busy schedule at Ibis, due to such an amazing calendar organised by the lifestyle team, is so exciting. From morning and afternoon teas to festivals from all corners of the world, the activities are amazing. As dad is a proud Greek, the Greek cultural activities are top class.From Greek singalongs to visits from local priests to do services on special Orthodox days, to making koulouria and red eggs at Easter time, the list goes on!! Dad’s meals are also incredible. There have been times I have been with dad at lunch or dinner time and I am also given a meal and I’m always so impressed with the quality. The hairdresser Gail is also so wonderful with the residents, so loving and caring. I’m sure they look at her as a friend where they can share their secrets( like we all do with our hairdressers!!) Each time i visit Ibis, I always stick my head into Erin’s office( which the door is always open) to have a quick chat with Erin and Mary not only about dads progress, but anything from the footy to my grandchildren. This is what is so special about Ibis. It is not only where your loved one now lives, but you are made to feel like a member of a loving extended family. My family and I are so thankful that we have found dad a loving home. We are sure that the dad of younger years would also be thanking you all for your hard work and commitment. Thankyou once again to you all.
Our stepfather is very happy at Ibiscare Blakehurst. The staff are friendly and accommodating to his every needs. He is in a wonderful sunny room and the meals are excellent.
