Restaurant: Excellent food. I had the house special sliced veal. Tender and tasty. Prompt, attention service. Not fancy but nice, relaxing, quiet environment for a good meal on a Sunday evening. Went back several other nights. Not disappointed. But busy every night so plan accordingly. Hotel: my other regular hotels we're booked so I gave this a shot. Not disappointed. Very clean. Great shower. Quiet which I like. Wonderful hostess. Keep in mind this isn't a chain hotel - it's a family run small hotel. Take the back way into Giessen in the morning - Steinberger Weg to Erdkauter Weg - much faster.

Absolutely perfect to me. Great service, great rooms, pretty good food and breakfasts.
Very nice, clean and friendly family hotel with a looooong history from middle of the 19th century.
