The on premise manager is very approachable and takes time to hear each of my concerns. However, my first year here was not a pleasant experience due to water pipes bursting and the water damage repairs took an extremely long time to repair. As I was told it was because maintenance was severely lacking. All that may have been accurate; but that issue should have been addressed immediately instead of letting it go on for so long. I was without a functioning dishwasher for a whole year. As far as my neighbors there are good authentic people and there is a “click” here of which gossip and find fault with others of which they truly do not even know. So I deliberately stay to myself and choose not to participate in any of the social interactions. Over all I see the maintenance is slowly improving. After some deep consideration I would like to add this amendment: I’m beginning to settle in better here and Tammi, the on premise manager makes every effort in attempting to meeting your needs. But I realize sometimes it’s beyond her ability to do so. I’m also beginning to understand that senior citizens can be a difficult group of people. So it’s a combination of issues here. I will give Hometowne a four star rating and give the residents two star rating.

Horrible management company! Terrible place to live. Residents are nasty, have nothing better to do but start drama. Owner dismissed the only long standing manager the community has ever had since opening in 2007 for doing more than her assigned duties, which was due to under staffing & low wages offered to hourly employees. I encourage each and every one to visit the community and see for your self, I assure you the new manager doesn’t even know how to lease an apartment or take an application.
I have called for weeks and Daisie was beyond rude and she just called back with a new attitude saying they are getting new owners and management which Tammie was the ONLY reason Id been calling for my mom. will now have to start the search over. Do not come here
