I have been a member of the gym for over 20 years. It is a fine facility but they have refused to reopen the wet room after covid. Apparently they're too cheap to spend the money to reopen up the hot tub, steam room, and sauna. They said they would open it but that was 2-3 years ago.

Use wisdom and counsel before deciding to move into Homestead Village of Fairhope. The 2500. Dollar. Community fee is non refundable. If you have a problem, you will receive no help from the management or the corporate management to solve the problem. This facility has many rules, be careful to analyze your needs and future needs should weather or an emergency require you to evacuate the facility for safety reasons. Should you rent in apartments on top floor, and unable to walk downstairs in an emergency. You will be required to move.
My grandmother lives in the independent village and she seems to love it. I wish the meals offered would be a little more spread out for her instead of a mid morning delivery. Please bring back the room to rent for families visiting. It was upsetting to learn this was rented out.
We visited a friend who lives here. The property is well maintained and she is very happy here. She speaks highly of the staff and their services. She also likes the other residents.
My mom stayed there a year , food was so bad residents started a petition to have it changed! Admin fluffed it off, could be a nice place if they improved services and activities for the seniors.
