I am very happy with the care my mother has been getting. She has been there for 3 years. The Entire staff from nursing, aides are very friendly, very helpful. So kind to my mother. They catch issues that i would never catch if she lived with me. Also lisa in house keeping is making sure the entire 1st floor rooms, hallway are so clean and fresh smelling.

My dad spent his last 14 months living at Homeland. From the time he moved in, he was made to feel at home and comfortable. During his time there he never had anything negative to say about being there and trust me, he still had his senses to him. I had little doubts that he would do more then sit in his room. How wrong I was. He could be found taking a walk around the ward, looking at the movies by the tv or in an activity. He would tell me how good the food was. I spent a good bit of time researching nursing homes and was very happy with our choice. The staff was always very kind and friendly towards us. Our dad just passed away 6/25 and at some point I'll go by to visit but for now I'll say Thank you to the staff. Your compassion means a lot.
Run. If you care for your loved one and can afford somewhere else run. If not be prepared for excuse after excuse, incompetent people who view this as a paying job and that's it. They ignore doctors orders, can't even take time out to give a person a drink of water and are not trained in compassion nor common sense nor have the ability to treat people with decency and dignity. Run.
The admissions representative, Susan H. is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. This is completely unfortunate considering the fact that this is a stressful period for families. This is a time when compassion and understanding should be shown! I hope Mr. Barry Ramper, the president and CEO of Homeland Center reads this review.
Horrible experience and completely over priced. They will drain you for every dollar you have. They did not care for patients. Would have family members sit in their own filth and then would say “next person on shift will help” and we would wait hours.
