This review is for the skilled nursing care facility within Holland Village. To begin with the rooms are dirty and very run down. When arriving with my loved one the toilet was covered in feces, there was no soap dispenser in the room or paper towels. The walls were filthy as well as the bedside table. The air conditioning vent was full of dirt and mold. Most of the nurses did their best considering the conditions. A cell phone was stolen from the room after the first few days there. The administration is horrible. While on hospice my loved one needed crushed ice. The nurse crushed it for us and was later reprimanded for wasting time by an administrator. We asked for an air mattress for a dying person and the same administrator questioned whether the patient had a bedsore. Apparently dying does not qualify. I was repremanded like a child for having someone stay in the room over night to provide comfort care. By the way the nurse only came into the room once during the night shift. When we decided to take my loved one to the hospital a few staff members very aggressively tried to talk us out of it. How dare they judge our decisions! Deciding to leave Holland Village was the best decision I could make for the comfort and well being of my family member.

Amazing facility! It is super clean and the staff is wonderful. If you are searching for a place for your loved one, whether it’s for independent living, assisted living or skilled nursing this facility is a great choice.
I have been working here at Holland Village PC for approximately 5 or more years. To my observations, I am amazed at the loving care of mostly everyone here. Nurse, Med Techs, Receptionists, Administrators, and those outside our community.
The care team here does an amazing job. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure residents and families are happy. My experience working with them has been nothing short of amazing. Ask for Jen here if you have questions! She is responsive and made things very easy!
