I moved here 2 years ago. I love the people that works here, very friendly, they know my name and call me by name. very clean and they are willing to help whenever I need help. They never say No. I get to keep my dog and I’ve made friends over the years. The managers are very attentive. It’s a great place.

I’m kind of stuck because I think this retirement home is nice but there are people who work there that make you feel uncomfortable. I met and woman named Marie Myer at the front dest, I was signing in to go see my mom and she always has this rude demeanor. I’m not sure if it’s the way she speaks to people but she’s always so aggressive and disrespectful, even to other employees there.. anytime I come in she seems upset, last Friday I came in and she was yelling at a nurse or caregiver (not sure) and that makes me feel unsure if I want to keep my family near a woman so unwelcoming and hostile. Not just her but others, early in the morning I have noticed mistreatment to residents on several occasions and it gets me a little worried and scared for my mom because even though I’ve spoken up about it nothing has been done.. please take a look at the people working there and if they are a right fit.
I was considering this place for my grandparents. I spoke to a sales director by the name of Jermani Edmonds who was very polite, informative, and professional. Jermani answered all of my questions and concerns with very thorough information, she made my decision making so much easier. I will definitely recommend this place!

We were thrilled to find the perfect studio apartment for him at Valencia Commons, located just a mile away from us, after an extensive search. The community has consistently maintained its cleanliness, and the staff has always been incredibly friendly and welcoming. As my uncle's health needs have evolved with age, we are grateful for the assistance of JJ from Comfort Choice Caregivers Services, who has ensured that he receives the utmost care and attention. The caregivers have shown genuine affection and concern for my uncle, making him feel loved and valued. In addition, the management team at Valencia Commons has been incredibly supportive and responsive to any issues or concerns that have arisen. Their commitment to the well-being and happiness of the residents is truly commendable. My frequent visits to Valencia Commons led me to develop a deep appreciation for the community and its values. Consequently, I decided to apply for a job and have been fortunate to work at Valencia Commons since January 2021. It is an honor to be part of this wonderful team that strives to create a safe and joyful environment for our residents.
