Blue Water Lodge is an amazing place for seniors who are looking to still keep their independence, but also receive help if needed. Staff is absolutely wonderful - it’s clean & the food here is amazing! I would be more than willing to place any of my family members here - as they are always in good hands. :)

My Father and I would definitely recommend living at Blue Water Lodge in Fort Gratiot! The staff is cheerful, helpful, and really knowledgeable. Everyone helped my Dad during his 3 years there. I lived 3 hours away from him and it was extremely comforting knowing he was in good hands there! There’s many residents, lots of activities, it’s clean, food is good. A perfect solution for a person looking to remain independent and be able to obtain help and assistance as needed. I’d recommend BWL to anyone looking for senior independent living or a retirement residence! It’s like an extension of your family there!!
Recently signed a contract for my grandmother and sister. Barb and Ashley spent a few hours with us showing us floor plans and explaining all the detail of what they offer. They were very kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Appreciated all their time and effort to make this possible and stress free as possible. Both my grandma and sister are looking forward to moving in soon. Thanks to both ladies.
This facility is well cared for and the staff are all outstanding! All staff is very helpful and always ready and eager to help.
If you're looking for an independent living facility this is one of the number one places to go! Everybody has their own apartment it's a beautiful facility there's lots of activities to do their provided breakfast lunch and dinner. There are two home cares located in the facility and of course some residents have their own home care workers that come and visit! You are allowed some small animals give them a holler if it's something you or your parents are looking for 😊
