I have been making several visits to Hillcrest Raleigh since I have a loved one in there at this time. everyone has been extremely friendly and very helpful. I needed to make arrangements for transportation to a dental appointment for my loved one outside of the facility and they were most accommodating and helpful with this issue. Whether I call or talk to someone in person I always finish being most satisfied with the outcome.

Always happy faces as soon as you walk through the door. The staff is amazing and you clearly see how happy the residents are. It’s difficult to be out of your home but Hillcrest makes the Residents feel at home !
Awful "rehab center". Do not go here. Do not take a loved one here. Run as fast as you can away from this place. We vetted rehab facilities for my father in law post hip surgery. This one appeared on paper to be the "best" (which isn't saying much). My husband went there in person to check it out and concluded it looked "decent". Father in law went there straight from hospital - said the first day they worked him out in PT. But - food was terrible - cold and tasteless. He would never get hot coffee, it was always cold. Every day thereafter he had perhaps 10 minutes of PT if at all. This was supposed to be rehab after a total hip replacement! He kept saying the food was bad and he was having trouble swallowing. They did not look him over or do anything to help him. When we asked the staff, they said he was eating well. He was not. He finally called 911 and said he needed to go back to the hospital as he could not eat - and was starving. He went back to the hospital where they discovered serious throat irritation from surgery intubation. However, the PT place never looked him over or talked with him about this. He said the "doctor" came in one time, barely listened to his heart and was out of his room in less than 2 minutes. Seriously - we are very grateful our family member was lucid and smart and "with it". If your family member is not - things could go south very quickly.
Very happy with our experience at Hillcrest. As my mother-in-law was being discharged from the hospital and needed skilled nursing care my first thought was Hillcrest and it has been a wonderful experience. The facility is always clean, and the staff could not be any nicer or more attentive.
Hillcrest was very busy today, but every employee was wearing a smile. I was able to enjoy lunch with my friend who is a patient there. I am a former patient at Hillcrest and was excited to see some of the therapy staff that I worked with as well as the nursing staff and others.
