If you are looking for the perfect Senior living spot for your loved one or self, look no further. Highgate is your home! This beautiful place is warm and inviting. They use diffusers that leave you feeling energetic for your day and relaxed in the evening. The food is delicious whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. I had the pleasure to dine with my loved one at all. Balanced, colorful, flavorful and filling. The resident homes are quaint and well designed. What really sets Highgate apart is their staff whether it is their receptionist, sales associate, dining associate, care partner or nurse, your loved one is treated as if they are the only one living there…these individuals, too numerous to name, are walking angels. They know your loved one, their history, likes and dislikes and even more impressive, they know their name sometimes even before you have been formally introduced. Their sign outside reads, One Big Family” and it couldn’t be more true. My loved one has made a group of friends in less than 3 weeks and is thriving. And, as for me, I have found support, comfort and peace knowing my loved one is cared for and I will be kept abreast of what is happening in their life there. What more could you possibly ask for. My mother moved into Highgate Assisted Living shortly after being widowed. She had never lived on her own before and the family was concerned about how she’d adapt. We knew when we were moving her in that she’d be fine. Everybody at Highgate is friendly, accessible, supportive and efficient, and my mother’s transition was nearly effortless. When she was moved to Highgate memory care a year later, we saw even greater warmth, patience and sensitivity from the entire staff. I’m confident and grateful that both my mother and my sister/caretaker are supported in every way.
Highgate is a great place for mom to live. I’m impressed with the things residents are doing—a picnic and kayaking at Goldwater Lake, the Verde Canyon Railroad, Hello Dolly, Bearazona, and Butterfly Wonderland to name a few. The facility is inviting and the staff are genuinely kind and caring. Kelly is fantastic, treats my mom like family and helps her stay active and involved.
We moved my father-in-law to Highgate just over a year ago. It was an incredibly challenging time for our family, but we are immensely grateful for the care and support provided by the entire team at Highgate. A special thank you goes to Jeni, the Executive Director. She devoted her time to us and ensured we never felt hurried. Her compassion, empathy, and understanding made the transition so much easier, alleviating many of our concerns. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Highgate. Your efforts truly make a difference every single day.
My mother-in-law has been living at Highgate for almost three years. She started as independent living, then to assisted and then to memory care about a year and a half ago. I can't tell you how wonderful Isabelle and her staff have been to Mary. The care and safety they provide gives my wife and her siblings peace of mind. They don't have to worry about anything except visiting and making their Mother as comfortable as possible. Isabelle is always available to answer questions and discuss issues, and always has an upbeat attitude that the residents and visitors find contagious. She also leads a support group that has proved an invaluable resource to my wife. I truly appreciate all that Highgate offers my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
