My father was a resident at Hermitage 2 years ago sadly he passed away in July 2023. During his stay he received nothing but the best care. He was ALWAYS clean. His room was always tidy. I was always updated on order and status changes. He adored his nurses and CNAs. He called them his baby dolls or girls. I always knew he was loved and cared for while he was there. I could not recommend a better place to work or place a loved one in this area at all

My dad was a resident there for a couple of years. It was a great experience for me as I worked there for many years also. I knew the care he would receive. The housekeepers kept his room clean which was NOT an easy task as he was very messy with his chewing tobacco. His favorite housekeeper was even a pall bearer at his funeral because of the relationship they formed. Dietary always made sure that he had ice cream with every meal and other treats that they thought he may eat. The nursing staff and doctor made sure he was as comfortable as he could possibly be. The CNA's were excellent in providing good care and with his poor health he never got any skin breakdown against all the odds he had. My mother has also been in and out there for rehab and we have always had a good experience. So thankful that we have this place for our elderly in our community.
Could not ask for better care for my mother than from the outstanding staff at Hermitage! Dementia makes her challenging but they provide the best comfort possible. Clean facility and well equipped for elderly needs. Highly recommend!
If you have to put your loved one in this place, Please go there every day and spend some time to see what goes on. Don't just pop in and out. I spent 4-5 hours every day for about 100 days and my sister did the same in the evening.
This is not the typical nursing home, it's more than that. The staff here makes the residents feel like this is their home. They provide personalized patient care and physical therapy. The residents have a wide array of activities to do during their stay. The dietary department prepares 3 delicious meals a day but anyone can eat when they like. Overall the atmosphere is great and you get a warm homelike feeling while you're there.
