I have made wonderful friends here. The staff is always so helpful. Alyssa our new manager is simply the best! Tanya has me helping with activities and we are doing things and going places. I love my apartment the location and the space and southern exposure. I recommend Heritage Woods❤️

If I could rate a 0 I would. They discriminate against my Mom based on her medication & her diagnosis. Thanks to another place that took her and told me about the Fair Housing Act. It’s not like this place is the Hilton. Their nurse Tonya should not be working here. She was rude to both me & my Aunt. She was condescending & very disrespectful in addition to being discriminating. No compassion. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place
I moved to Heritage Woods about a year ago and I enjoy this place. We get to go on a lot of outings like museums and stores. The new Ed is very helpful and the receptionist.
I’ve lived here for over 2 years and have found most of what I was told when given the initial tour has been quite different. I was shown the right side of the hallway which was nice and clean and smelled good, once I moved in I had access to the entire facility I then walked through the rest and found the hallways dirty and smelling like old cigarettes and stale food. Now as for Management, you have an Executive Director who admitted in a public meeting that she was given the title but she hadn’t Earned it, which became obvious she says to residents if you don’t like something how about I give you a 30 notice to vacate the and see how you like that . A few of the departments are like a comedy show no sense or reason, the food department is nothing like what one would expect even in a truck stop, the food itself is just wrong and the cleanliness is terrible. The wait staff changes on a regular basis for all different reasons. Everything mentioned above leads back to my comments about the Executive Director. Maybe Garnet should take a hard look into what’s really going on here. Now let’s see if I get a 30 day notice after she reads this review, I guess you will know in my next review.
Very warm and inviting atmospher. The decor is a little outdated but we hear there is a remodel coming this year. My mom was afraid at first but is so happy now and the staff know her likes and dislikes and are beyond caring. Best decision we could have made.
