Our grandmother recently stayed at Heritage House for short-term rehab following before/after surgery and we were very pleased with the care provided. Everyone was knowledgeable, encouraging, and helped her make great progress in a short amount of time. The nursing staff was attentive and made sure all medical needs were met. It is a positive atmosphere that supported healing. The facility itself is clean, warm, and welcoming, with a cozy feel that truly feels like home. Grandma especially enjoyed the daily activities. My mother was blessed to be able to spend the last few years of her life at Heritage House in Atlantic. The staff was so kind and treated her with the respect she deserved. They treated her like she was one of their own family and Mom thought of all of them as her family, too. We never had to worry about her care because we knew she was in great hands. The facility is beautiful and the food is delicious. At the time of her death everyone was so supportive and took such great care of our family during Mom’s end-of-life journey. We will always hold fond memories of her time at Heritage House.

Kennedy and Madeline were absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They answered all our questions with patience and made the whole experience feel personal and comfortable. The community itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and thoughtful amenities. You can really tell there’s a focus on healthy, vibrant living here. Definitely a place we feel good about keeping in mind for the next chapter of our parents’ lives!
As a family friend of someone who lives at The Heritage House in Atlantic, I just wanted to say how impressed I am—even from afar. I don’t visit often, but I follow everything through social media, and I’m constantly blown away by all the fun, thoughtful, and engaging activities the residents get to enjoy. From themed parties and holiday celebrations to fitness classes, art sessions, and outings, it’s clear the staff goes above and beyond to create a lively, supportive community. I’ve seen so many smiling faces in the photos, including my friend’s, and it truly warms my heart. They look happy, involved, and genuinely cared for. What stands out most is the sense of belonging and joy that comes through every post. It gives me real peace of mind knowing that someone I care about is living in a place where they’re not just looked after, but also thriving. If the social media posts are any indication of daily life at The Heritage House, then I’d say they’re doing something right.
I have had the opportunity to visit Heritage House several time’s the past couple of years. Each time I visit, I am impressed with the facility and team members. It is obvious that employees care for the residents, and go above and beyond.
