The staff do the best they can with what they are given. There are some great staff members there. The basement level where my mother was housed was very basic. The photos on their website only show the first floor not the basement quarters. The air conditioning doesn’t work and it was like a sauna in the basement. The only way to get my mother outside to the patio was a barely working lift. Otherwise the residents never go outside. Communication could have been better especially when leaving. Would not be my first choice for a loved one. Better training for staff would be beneficial

I encourage anyone faced with selecting a memory care facility visit with an appointment, meet staff and inquire about their training. Take time to experience meals, areas for bathing, and trained professionals who assist as the disease advances. Ask questions, talk to residents. Make a note of the building conditions as to safety, and how medication is managed, recorded, and stored. Ask about personal grooming, for example a beauty shop is on site, who is contracted to work there and how often do they offer services, and payment how to pay for those services. How are personal items stored and kept safe, for example hearing aides, extra set of glasses, phone, jewelry. Be informed. I did not do a very good job when I took my loved to Heritage Court. I do not believe the corporate owners train, vet, or support the staff they hire to care for residents. Fortunately I was able to relocated my family member. Within 24 hrs at the new residence, my loved one's physical difference was remarkable.
I just want to simply thank Susan for all that she had done for me in less than 24hours. Over the last 5months I’ve been in search of my grandma. Yesterday I was giving the information that she is staying at this facility. I reached out and had a hard time talking to someone. Susan contacted me through phone and via text and let me know my grandma was doing well. She made a promise to me that she would allow me to speak to my grandma, and she did just that. She had my grandma come to her office personally and had her call me. I’ve literally been crying tears of joy since. Susan I’ve thanked you privately, but I had to thank u publicly. Cause you have know idea how much this has meant to me. Thank you 🙏🏾
My Grandmother is in the final stages of her life. The staff at heritage court dont take care of her the way they should. She is constantly dehydrated from lack of fluids. Her room smells of urine. She has been to the hospital recently for an infection from being left in soiled diapers. This place should be shut down!! They couldn't care less about their residents! Don't let your loved one suffer in this place!
This is a great place where staff are just so nice and caring. Their administrator is really so loving and caring, Ellen their DNS is like. ... she has a big heart and sees the goodness in every resident here.... She is God sent... she really really cares... Kim, Angela, Nima and everyone here are just awesome... This would be a place for me.. when I get to a point in my life .. that I would need assistance.
