I recently toured this community and was super impressed! The staff offered such a warm welcome and the residents were full of smiles which tells me something about the care being given. It smelled great and was very clean. I definitely recommend this home to anyone who is in need of assisted living services.
I love the Heritage. Not only working for the company but also having a family member that was there. Its not your typical nusring home. There is no nastt smell the moment you walk in every client has their own room with their own bathroom and shower. The feel of the facility is a home setting and not covered in lament, but carpeting. I beyond love this plave and feel at home here.
The clients are always safe and clean. The best facility I’ve ever worked at. I also had a family member here last year. My uncle told me that bringing him here is what saved his life. The facility we transferred him from was letting him die. Heritage corner saved him.
Short and sweet: The worst facility I have ever dealt with. I'm an advanced practice nurse with almost 10 years of clinical experience, and I have NEVER EVER dealt with such an incompetent facility. My Dad came there for a rehab stay and the facility never told us any information about his discharge date until they told us one afternoon his insurance was denying him staying any further. My Dad had 10 fractured vertebrae and could not do a whole lot himself, and this supposed "rehab facility" gave us ZERO advance notice of any discharge date. So my Dad had to be discharged without occupational therapy making any home visits prior to his discharge, my Mom had to scramble to contact my Dad's cancer doctors to get prescriptions ordered to take home, we had to urgently find a medical device company to deliver a lift chair last minute since that was the only device my Dad could rest or sleep in, and on and on. Then, when I called to complain about the lack of planning, some administrator named Kelly spoke over me for several minutes, and then when I became frustrated, she HUNG UP on me!!! I called back, and she HUNG UP again!!! I've never seen such a poorly run facility, with jerks for staff members, and a complete lack of empathy. Another example, one night my Dad asked for his pillow readjusted and the Nurse said that's not my job, and left the room. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE!!!!
