Heritage is a great facility , that truly cares about residents and staff! I have visited residents on a regular basis and clients are always clean and happy. Last year was a rough year with Covid but staff really stepped up and made a difference when families could not be there. Current leadership in the facility are working hard to make some really positive changes and I couldn’t be happier to continue visiting and see these positive changes. Highly recommend The Assisted Living and Memory Care at Deer Creek in New Berlin.
Horrible memory care should be sued for fraud and incompetence.nothing but a corporate money grab.words can not describe how much I hate this place, do not put your loved one in there care you will regret it!!! . Never call you back when you ask for updates. Do not have the skills or experience required for true memory care , there activities are watch a movie every night or die if boredom. Witnessed a lady finishing her meal and could not get away from table but staff was too busy playing with the DVD player or looking at phones to help her so I gave her a hand ( her wheel chair was hung up and could not get away from table) 2nd floor stinks of urine, visited 2 other places recently and did not smell like that. Gave my dad wrong medication when we specifically told them not too before he spent even 1 night there, they were more concerned about getting a check instead of telling a nurse so that would not happen. There are much better choices for your loved one
Never return phone calls, night staff is inattentive. All about appearances and money, the care is nothing like they say it is. (also, if you look for reviews on Heritage Senior Living, it is pretty obvious that they are having staff post positive reviews on sites...including this one....to falsely "up" their ratings. This should raise an eyebrow to those considering moving to any location...if they were everything they claim to be there would be no reason to have employees posting reviews for them. Check their history on employment sites like indeed and glassdoor) There are much better places to move to for assisted living or memory care.
Facility is always clean and residents seem genuinely happy 😊 Staff always acknowledge us and greet us with smiles. We are so happy and fortunate to have found Heritage at Deer Creek !
