Activity for clients are catered for as best they can. Unfortunately the same can't be stated for some nursing staff attending to clients at times. From my observation there had been ocassions when a call bell used was simply ignored, turned off at the nurses station and not attended to. A former nurse myself, it is paramount that call bells need to be ensured that they are in reach of clients and (not un plugged) so they can use it and secondly are attended to. You may be dealing with a life threatening situation one day and i hate to think a patient being compromised.
One of the best places. Extremely clean, n very friendly staff who take the time to listen to any concerns you may have. They also keep you up to date if there are any problems with your elderly family in there.
I am more than impressed about the standard of care my mother is receiving at Helping Hand Mawson Lakes. The staff are wonderful, they keep me informed about mum's well being and most importantly mum is comfortable and she loves the carers. I highly recommend Mawson Lakes as a residential care facility.
Well presented internally and externally. Good vibes with staff and rooms professionally maintained. Our Mum very happy with food and enough interests to keep her entertained.
