I have a relative living here since September '24. I have been very impressed by the dedication of the administrative and most of the direct care staff! (I have seen the administrative staff eating lunch with residents and dressing up and serving residents during a 50's day activity.) The administrative staff is very approachable, responsive, and helpful. The facility is beautiful and very clean! There are many opportunities for activities. Hellenic is actually a treasure to have in our community! It is very rare to find an affordable place where someone who still is somewhat independent but not enough to live on their own and not dependent enough for skilled nursing can go. They have a flat fee for care, as opposed to many places that charge more the more care you need and is more expensive, anyway. Hellenic was created expressly for those without many assets or income. They do struggle with turnover in the direct care staff as is very common in most businesses today, so I don't blame them for that. If something goes wrong, they want you know and do their best to correct it. We are lucky to have them in our community!

Five star service, all the way around. We're in the process of transitioning my Mother in Law to Hellenic and the staff (Cindy in particular) are extraordinary. The process takes time, but the commitment to open, honest communication, helping us navigate the process, and willingness to step up as advocates for their residents leaves us with full confidence this is the right place and the right choice. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming environment, staffed with professional experts to help you navigate the path then Hellenic is the place for you.
Here at Hellenic, we have wonderful group of residents, as well as employees! it is about having a safe place where your loved one can thrive! Meals are great, and activities are Always 5 a day! We have a great team, and we all work together for the good of the residents.
This isn’t a good place to put your loveOnes. They don’t Care if the phone in the room where your loveones at, works and no One will assist or Answer the phone in the Frontdesk. If you want your LoveOnes to Be taking care of. Better Find a Place who can do their job and at the same time have Care and understand the situation of those in needs.
We have been very happy having my mother in law living at Hellenic in Mishawaka. She has a lovely room with wonderful view, can drive her scooter around and outside for fresh air without worrying about her safety, and she has made so many new friends with other residents and staff. Her safety and happiness there has lowered my stress level so much!
