I'm writing this at a very difficult time in my life. I was married for 50 years to a wonderful man. He found out that he had cancer six months ago and decided that he didn't want standard treatment. He wanted to stay at home until he passed. Heartland Home Healthcare made that possible for him. I will never be able to thank them for the wonderful quality care that they provided. No matter what time, day or night, they were always there for us. Everyone of their staff was compassionate, loving and praying people. They made his transition as painless as possible and provided everything; I do mean everything that was needed for his care. When he passed, his nurse was there so fast that I was amazed. You need to know that even after he was gone they didn't leave me. They offered me grief counseling and continue checking in on me. I will never forget what they did for my family. It renewed my faith in the human spirit. If you should ever find that you are in need of hospice care, you won't find a better organization than this one. You have my word on that!
