Family member of transitioning Forest day for Rehab. Have had friends and their family members stay there. Was very impressed with what I had heard and was able to speak with a staff member briefly due to the lateness of an hour. And they were very informative and very kind. First time for family member and I wasn't sure how things would go but I was very happy to hear that the transition start is going well. Thank you for letting me know that things are going well. I put my mind at ease

I gave this facility a one only because I cannot give it anything less. I placed my mother at Hearthstone following a lengthy hospital stay after she experienced a stroke/seizure. I placed her there on a short term stay so that she could be given therapy in an effort to return home as she lived with me. During the short time that she was at Hearthstone (a little over a month), she experienced instant severe decline including being hospitalized more than once for UTIs, UNDETECTED covid, a blood sugar level in the 700s, bed sores and more. I roamed the halls multiple times when my mother was experiencing issues that I could not help her with and was seldom able to find a nurse or anyone to help. I had to constantly bring issues my mother was having to Hearthstone's attention as they were not closely monitoring her. She was also forced to stay in a room with a roommate that was very cold all the time, in a temperature that was not only very uncomfortable but very unhealthy for her. I was told that she could not be moved to a room that was normal temperature as all the residents were already settled and familiar with their roommates. My mother's room was set on heat rather than air conditioning in the 80s in the month of August. I requested multiple times to meet the Physicians or nurse practitioners caring for my mother to come up with a care plan and never did meet them. After the last hospitalization, my mother passed away shortly after. I would think very long and hard before placing a loved one under the "care" of this facility.
Everyone at Hearthstone that cared for my mother, genuinely “cared” for and about my mom. Too numerous to name and to avoid leaving anyone out- I thank Everyone- front facing and back of the house- who supported my mother and our family during a difficult time. So blessed that she experienced the professionalism and level of care she deserved. Highly recommend this facility and the Legacy family!! BLESS YOU ALL❤️
My mother and father has had to have several stays with Hearthstone. The staff and caregivers treat them like family, making them feel special with activities like art, bingo, along with therapy, and good meals. The professional caregivers that are so cheerful and loving, we are lucky to have found a place that is so great for the folks. We would recommend Hearthstone to anyone with a need to have a safe and loving, as well as caring environment. Thank you. Woody & Debbie Hueston
Very grateful for Hearthstone Health Campus. The staff and caregivers are so kind and responsive to our Mom. Especially grateful for Alice & Liz in the Admissions area; professional, polite and helpful. The caregivers are very attentive. We really love the all the activities that are provided for the patients.
