My Delightful Home and New Friendships A little over a year ago I moved into my delightful and beautiful home here at Hearthside Club in Tucker. Since that eventful day I have been blessed with opportunities to meet a good number of other residents, get to know them a little, share interests and life experiences, and become friends. The warmth of each resident and the outstanding staff and management all contribute to the ideal place I call "home." Oh, AND my apartment: It is beautiful! Spacious, modern, quiet, and full of all my little treasures. The balcony is so very special. . .for I can enjoy breakfast and coffee (or lunch) there while listening to the beautiful sounds of nature almost year-round.
I had lived at Hearthside Club Tucker for 5 years, and moved 1 year and 9 months ago to Marietta to get into a housing authority apartment. I miss the building, the location, the apartment, the people, Julie and all the staff. It was a family there. Since my circumstances have changed, I am actually hoping to go back there, back to where it feels like home. Julie, I want to get on the list, I want to come HOME.
My Mom and I happened to drive by one day and noticed the property. She was just placed on the waiting list for another Senior property. We decided to pull in and take a look! To our surprise, they were holding an Open House. We met several employees and added hee name to that list. Low and behold, 4 months later, she got the call, for an available ynit! She is happy& the convenience of the location is a plus! Mom has become more Social, got a garden & have met several Ladies to sit outside and chat with! I am very happy to see her happy & thriving with her new Social Calendar!
This place would get 5 stars due to the fact that it is new and really nice on the inside. But due to the fact that we (my mom and myself) were poorly treated when we went to view the apartments I am giving it a 1 star. The lady was rude immediately as we walked in and asked for a person we spoke to on the phone before coming. she said the person was not there. we asked her other questions and her demeanor was horrible. This lady needs a class on customer service immediately. she was unprofessional and unfriendly. She is the lady who approves who gets to live there or not. Not sure what her official title is.
