I know many people that live here. They say the staff is kind and attentive. I see that every time I visit. China is an outstanding nurse and always on top of things. Kristen truly cares about her residents and families and is the only Executive Director I've met to know so much about them. Christina is amazing with memory care activities and always has something different and fun to do. Chef Rick has improved the food immensely. Every place has snags here and there but Kristen and China always responsive and fix it as soon as it's brought to their attention. I'd definitely recommend.

My mother in law was at Heartfields and she was paying for full care at this facility for 9 months: Often we would visit and her clothes and sheets were soaked in dried urine. The lack of care given her, despite the payments for full service was way below par and bordered on elder abuse. When we complained to the Director, she was defensive and dismissive of our concerns. We have move her out of Heaetfields and into a different place-our only regret is that we didn’t move her sooner. Heartfields gets 0 stars from us!
If I could give them negative I would. The rooms on the main floor were good. Memory care downstairs was a horror! DO NOT leave your loved ones there. I found my mom in her own feces covered on her sleeve up her back, she must have been in it for half the day or more. I found her in urine and a urine soaked chair. They gave her no clean water to drink. Ruined most of her clothes. Or just sat the ones she peed in to fester in the corner. The staff rarely interacted with the patients. Most staff was lazy and was watching TV or their phones
My parents have been at Heartfields for 4 months. The staff are fantastic! They really put their heart into it, and care about the residents. These people are truly gifted and special. I appreciate them so much! What a wonderful place!
I placed my mother in Heartfields several months ago and I am totally satisfied with the care she is receiving. Everyone is caring and compassionate. The staff shows that they are very concerned about her well being. The first time I went to visit I found her in an exercise class, something before now she would never even be in the room for. The activities director is wonderful, always engaging the residents. They even do manicures every Monday. I was told I could meet the group at any outing saving me from having to provide transportation for her to enjoy things outside the facility. I have attended a luau and Halloween party and can't wait for the holiday party. I really appreciate the staff's effort to be sure the family is involved in all aspects of the resident's life. I would and have recommended this facility to others.
