Kindness and friendliness were the first two qualities I thought of when we walked in for our 1st tour of Hayden Grove in Bloomington, MN. Admin, Staff and other Residents were so welcoming. The building is very open and light and beautifully decorated. Fireplace is now burning in the lobby which invites you into a very lovely and comfortable social area. There is a Honor Hall with Military pictures of residents who have served our country. My father is very proud of his picture that hangs with others. Thank you Hayden Grove for doing that for our Veterans!! We are very happy they selected Hayden Grove!!

I toured Hayden Grove yesterday to learn more about it for some of my clients who want their next move to be somewhere they can stay through many potential future life changes. I was impressed with the place - beautiful, well-kept, very friendly staff who seem to love working there (that's always a plus), residents who all said great things about it and more. Hayden Grove will definitely be a place I would recommend to my clients!
Initial impression of Hayden Grove Memory Care was it was a beautiful place. The Department Heads all came to greet my husband and welcome him the day he moved in. I learned quickly to lower my expectations. The communication with nursing staff was poor. Staff could not report on the previous shift. My husband was not checked on or cleaned up every two hours as per our agreed contract. Several times I requested help via the call light from the staff but ended up helping him in the bathroom and cleaning him up myself as no one would show up. I spoke to the Executive Director about concerns and she turned the situation from my husband’s care to me having an issue of accepting his illness. Then my husband fell 3 times in 24 hours and this was the beginning of the end for him. He passed away 2 weeks after that. It is important for family members to visit often to get a pulse on how patients are/aren’t cared for. I would not recommend putting a loved one in Hayden Grove Memory Care.

What truly sets Hayden Grove apart is the vibrant community atmosphere. There are always engaging activities and events happening, providing residents with ample opportunities to socialize and stay active. From educational workshops to fun outings, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
