Mom is 97 years old and Hawthorne Inn is her first experience at assisted living. When we walked in the door for the first time on a Sunday for a surprise visit, we could not have been more pleased; the place was clean, smelled great and the residents we met seemed happy. The staff was super friendly and if I didn't know better, I would think they were expecting an inspection. The next morning I was waiting on the doorstep at 8am hoping and praying we could get mom in. In the two months mom has been there, she has made friends and enjoyed lots of activities. I have visited daily and eaten with her a couple of times. The food is great and mom brags about her meals every time I see her. As it turns out, our initial visit was no fluke. Hawthorne Inn has met and surpassed expectation every day since day one.

This place feels like home. The staff is amazing. Always willing to assist and answer any questions we have. Our family is comfortable knowing our loved one is safe, happy and healthy. We are grateful for Ms. Shawnicka, she made the transition smooth and easy for us!

My brother has been a resident at Hawthorne Inn ALF since June. Since day one the staff have been caring and attentive. They have addressed every concern promptly. I am grateful for the care and safety Hawthorne provides my brother. Thank you, Shawnicka and Staff.
The staff at Hawthorne Inn of Ocala is some of the best in the business. Witnessing the connection and love they give to their residents is absolutely beautiful and heartwarming.
