We moved my mother into Hawthorne Inn after a negative experience with another facility. The peace of mind that we feel having our mother at Hawthorne is immeasurable. The staff is so wonderful. They are clearly well-trained on approach and sensory techniques and how to interact effectively and sensitively with residents who have dementia. I look forward to seeing the staff when I go visit my mom-they truly are special people who care about the residents. The activity staff are all so welcoming and sweet to the residents and they arrange fun things for the residents to do. The facility is beautiful and has so much to offer in the way of things to do when there isn't an organized activity going on. There is musical entertainment regularly and the residents love it! They host family nights regularly, where family members can come and enjoy dinner and usually dancing with their loved one-SO well-done and it's a fun party every time! There are educational events for family members, which is amazing! The kitchen staff is all so sweet to the residents and the food at Hawthorne is truly wonderful. It looks like it could be featured in a culinary magazine and is even more delicious. Everyone there is so great to my mom. The management are all excellent; they run a tight ship and they truly care about residents, which is so reassuring to us as a family. We take great comfort in knowing that our mom is well cared for here. My only regret is that we didn't find Hawthorne Inn at the beginning of our journey with dementia. I cannot say enough about how much we love Hawthorne Inn and all the people who make it such a special place!

It is a lovely place with nice amenities and staff. My friend who is there appeared to have everything he needs and is safe. One could not ask for anything more really. The grounds are well kept too.
The nurses are always so sweet to my mom!!! Room clean. Whole place smells great and looks great. Mom has been there for 3 years.
My grandmother has been a resident of Hawthorne for almost 2 years. During this time we both have gotten to know everyone there from staff to residents and we absolutely love everyone! Her room is beautiful and well kept. My grandmother loves the food and snacks. She especially loves all of the wonderful recreation opportunities. She has never been so busy honestly! There is so much to do and she loves keeping busy. She gets her hair done weekly at the salon in site, she plays Bingo and other fun games many times a week. She does puzzles and paints! Her laundry is cleaned and returned once weekly. She has a beautiful kitchenette in her room for snacks and drinks. Most importantly the staff are absolutely incredible. They are professional but so very personable. They love and care for their residents like family. We are so grateful to have found this beautiful assisted living facility so close to our home!
It's wonderful place nice clean environment and great hospitality, and the patients always have something to do always activities and I love that ...The staff is amazing. They always greet with smile and so compassionate.
