Although closed when we visit, it seemed to be great in the summer. It has a large paid parking place for both cars and caravans, bar, bathroom and shower. A big grass spot invites for a nice tan in summer times!

A few months ago, we found our beloved dog, Sugar, at this animal shelter. From the moment we met, through the first walks, to the preliminary check-up at our home, the entire adoption process was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Every question we had was answered, and great importance was placed on the animal's well-being. You receive a lot of information about the dog and its personality upfront, allowing you to take your time to carefully consider your decision. The shelter isn't run as a rehoming or adoption center; instead, the animals and their individual needs are clearly the top priority. Even though an animal shelter per se isn't a "nice" place for a social creature, it must be said that this shelter truly strives to minimize harm.
The staff is nice, but they won't take a dog outside of you Region. It's a shame I wanted to adopt a dog that has been there since April, i.e. 7 months, and I thought the dogs were looking for a home? and that's why I won't become a member, I'm thinking of donating something, it's probably not really necessary after all.
I always find it very noteworthy and have the greatest respect for it. Things that are broken or often disregarded and "kicked" by human hands... I therefore admire the people who, mostly on a voluntary basis, dedicate their hearts and minds to this. These local dogs thank you. To you, Ms. von Reinhard and your entire team... Cheers 🐕🦮💗
We found our dog here and received very good and honest advice. They take care of where the dogs go and we think that's very good. It's great that animal shelters like this exist. We also say thank you on behalf of our dog :)
