The House for Care and Nursing at Wendelstein made a very modern and appealing impression on me. I was particularly impressed by the excellent management of the home, who put a lot of commitment into looking after the well-being of the residents. During my visit I had a great experience and observed how much the residents are valued and respected. I also captured the positive atmosphere in the house with a few photos that confirm the impression of this special place. I can only recommend the house!

A good atmosphere in the house, the staff is friendly. You work as a TEAM. I really appreciate that. Attention is paid to hygiene. There is always time for concerns and we work in a solution-oriented and de-escalating manner. There is understanding, the wages are always on time. There are 4 living areas. The 3rd floor is a protected area for residents with dementia and mental illnesses. It is lovingly designed and the care in the house works FOR and WITH the residents and with heart. The house has a kitchen where food is prepared daily. A very nice garden to relax in. ❤️
So first of all for the understanding of everyone who reads this review. I was allowed to/had to get to know pretty much all of the senior citizens' homes in the area and what I had to see and experience was anything but beautiful and humane. Most homes are designed solely for Provit and the operators' greed for money. In my experience, the public ones here are some of the worst of them. The employees are asked to do inhumane things and the residents' money is taken out of their pockets without fair performance. The residents of most homes are processed like they are in an assembly line, without any kind of empathy or interpersonal relationships. In plain English, in most homes the residents are processed like a dead piece of meat in a butcher's shop. The primary suffering of the residents, but also the employees, is accepted with approval. It's really sad to have experienced something like that. I am even more grateful to be able to work in such a great facility. Namely, the first thing I can say without reservation is that it regards human dignity as the highest good, regardless of whether as a patient/resident or employee. Absolute recommendation for those who are looking for a home or a job where you can feel comfortable as a resident and employees can work the way they learned in training.
New name, old problems. There are several chain smokers in the facility. The smoking terraces are open 24 hours a day. The noise level for residents with windows facing the courtyard is accordingly. Sometimes residents are constantly shouting "Help" or "Hello" loudly... my first visit made me cry. The staff often smoke together in the underground car park.
I was welcomed very friendly and openly at the on-site facility. The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very competent and helpful.
