Harrogate is a wonderful place for our elderly family members and friends to live, and a nice place for us to visit. Over the past few years we've enjoyed many small (and large) family gatherings in their excellent dining room. The staff is always friendly and attentive and we appreciate the care our loved ones receive. I'm honored to have been invited to Harrogate on several occasions to give solo piano recitals and chamber music concerts. The residents are always very appreciative and attentive. I'm looking forward to going back for another recital soon.

I recently spent three weeks at Harrogate. I have spent time in other rehabs but non as wonderful as Harrogate. The management team was so very supportive and helpful any time I needed them. They didn’t hesitate to come to my room to address my needs. Such a delightful group. Many thanks to the nurses and aides that were there for me. Each and every one was so very kind and caring. To the physical and occupational therapists a very special thank you for all your hard work helping me to recuperate. I could not walk when I arrived at Harrogate. When I left, I walked to the car on my own. Each one of them was so very kind and worked so hard to help me.
The heart and soul of Harrogate is its staff—a wonderful group of people who work day in and out to make this independent living community a welcoming home to all. Dana and the clinic staff do a great job keeping a watchful eye on my mom’s health. The PT therapists make sure she’s on track to stay fit and the restaurant’s chef and kitchen staff cook up top notch food that is always served with a smile. There are tons of activities to do and lots of opportunity for my mom to try new things. There’s also a lot of events/parties & interesting day trips to keep one’s social calendar full! But be forewarned—Friday night cards can get a bit competitive. Lots of card sharks in the house😉. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to Angel and Nick (fixers of all things) and the rest of the security, maintenance, and facility staff. They do a fab job keeping things in tip top shape as well as checking in with my mom to make sure all is good. All and all over the past 3 years I’ve come to think of the staff at Harrogate as one big extended family. It’s easy to see why my mom and dad chose to move here. And for me (an out-of-state resident) it’s comforting to know that when I can’t be here my mom is well cared for and surrounded by love. My sincerest thanks to everyone.
My mother took a bad fall and went to the hospital, after seven days she came to rehab at Harrogate. While spending three weeks healing she couldn't say enough about the care she received from every staff member that helped see her through a difficult time. She raved about the food, the attentive health team and the overall care which helped get her back on track. Harrogate is truly great, thank you for caring so much.
As a harp therapist, my experience at Harrogate has been enjoyable for me and the residents. When I come for “High Tea” the residents always compliment the harping and are full of smiles and gratitude. When I play sing-a-long sessions in the other resident location, the residents seem more alert and love joining in with familiar tunes.
