I toured Harmony with Haley Stultz Friday. I had been wanting to see it since I had heard about it while it was under construction. I toured the single unit on the first floor which has a huge main bedroom and another room which could be another bedroom, office or whatever you wanted. All 1st floor apartments have patios to sit at. This is a 4 story building and although I didn't have time to visit a 4th floor apartment, I heard they are awesome. I was absolutely wowed by the single unit I toured. It looked like a Home and Garden Magazine layout, check out the pictures. If you have a loved one who you don't want living alone, please call Haley. She will treat you and your loved ones right.

Harmony at Greensboro is phenomenal. The place is clean and well maintained. Laura and Denise do a great job along with their staff. They are caring, hard-working and do a wonderful job managing the facility and staff and caring for the residents. The employees seem happy too which makes a difference. They are all caring and wonderful with the residents. I highly recommend Harmony at Greensboro.
Scheduling of events and cancellations are not clear. I have tried to attend a few planned events to find them cancelled but I did not see any notifications of the cancellation. Very frustrating.
The facility is beautiful. The food is wonderful and the day to day staff is friendly and caring. It’s probably wonderful in independent living. Unfortunately if you need more than basic assisted living you should look elsewhere. My mom left Harmony in far worse shape than she was when she went in. She was on blood thinners due to a wound that wasn’t properly treated and got infected. The staff told us she had a dangerously low heart rate and would not back down even after a cardiologist said it was fine. There are many more stories. Mom is at another community nearby now and is THRIVING, content, healthy, and loved. The damage Harmony contributed to cannot be undone but her children can now relax knowing she is in good hands.
The building is beautiful and has potential to be a great facility. The sales director and nursing staff were very nice. Unfortunately the Main Director Laura made our experience at Harmony a nightmare. My MIL who has dementia moved into Harmony's assisted living, within 3 days they said she was "wandering" and not safe to be in assisted living so they moved her into Memory Care. At first we were okay with this decision but after she moved it became clear to us and the Nursing/Dr staff that she did not belong there. (She was helping feed and guide the other patients) We had everything set up with the Harmony Drs/Nursing Director to move her back to Assisted living until she spoke with the main Director Laura. Laura was rude to my MIL and my MIL called her out on it, unfortunately this interaction prevented the move to assisted living to happen. We called multiple times and pleaded for a Trial in Assisted Living. Laura would not let this happen. We had no choice but to move our MIL to another facility. She is now at Heritage Greens in Greensboro and is THRIVING in their INDEPENDENT LIVING facility. I'm not sure if there is just not enough staff or because they are so new and do not have everything figured out yet but the difference in communication/activities and security at Heritage and Harmony is night and day. There is a reason why they have so much availability in Independent/Assisted/Memory care and no wait list. Would not recommend this place for any loved one with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Also the Staff at the front are completely clueless and were never helpful. They didn't have enough staff to open up the second entrance so we had to walk through the main entrance every time. Very hard to walk my MIL pass all of nice Independent living amenities and then drop her off in Memory care every time we took her somewhere because of this.
