I spent an amazing day with my mom and her friends from the Harbor Chase Assisted Living community on an excursion. The time out was so wonderful for my mom and her friends. Something different from the daily routine will give them stories to talk about for years to come. The staff, Ashley, Cory, Azita, took such good care of everyone. Safety was the number one priority but fun was a close second. I can’t say enough positive comments about this excursion for the residents. Thanks to HC for making our day.

The memory care unit is amazing. Jean the memory care director genuinely treats the residents like her own family. I would highly recommend.
Update: After posting this review, HarborChase did reach out and worked with our family to resolve our issues. I appreciate their efforts to resolve our concerns. I am writing this review to share my family’s deeply concerning experience with HarborChase Plano. My uncle moved in around Thanksgiving, expecting a supportive and comfortable environment, but our experience fell significantly short due to repeated issues with care, communication, and professionalism. From the beginning, there were red flags. Repairs that were promised before move-in were incomplete, the freezer still contained food from the previous tenant, and my uncle even received a Thanksgiving card addressed to the prior resident, who had passed away. This level of oversight was both unprofessional and deeply insensitive. During his stay, he frequently waited over an hour for meals, and basic services like trash pickup were unreliable. Staff failed to respond to repeated concerns about his nutrition, and a cockroach infestation was reported but never adequately resolved. Due to ongoing medication management errors, our family was forced to step in to ensure he received his prescriptions correctly. After he vacated, we learned that staff had been staying in his apartment and using his belongings without his knowledge or consent. When we raised concerns, facility staff openly admitted to allowing employees to stay there and did not acknowledge this as an issue. Additionally, while he was still living in the unit, maintenance staff had already begun preparing it for a new tenant, making an already stressful situation worse. These experiences reflect serious systemic issues at HarborChase Plano. Neglect, poor communication, and a disregard for residents' dignity and privacy are unacceptable in any senior living facility. I urge others to carefully consider these concerns before choosing this location for their loved ones. Meaningful improvements are necessary to ensure residents receive the respect and care they deserve.
My Dad lived here until his death. Dad was well taken care of, and we appreciate all the care he received. Thanks specifically to Crystal, Bridgette, Rita, Amy, Shauntay, Maria in the kitchen and everyone who showed him so much love in his final days.
HarborChase of Plano without a doubt exemplifies what it means to take care of your loved one with dignity, kindness, and compassion.
